Responsibilities
As a WordPress Developer/Designer Intern, you will:
- Use tools such as Elementor, Gutenberg, and WPBakery Page Builder to design and develop fully functional and visually appealing WordPress websites.
- Ensure fast loading times and smooth navigation to improve user experience and website performance. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical WordPress issues that arise.
- Apply SEO best practices to optimize website content, images, meta tags, and site structure, driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web design, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies to continually improve your skills.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous WordPress projects, demonstrating your development and design skills.
- Strong knowledge of the WordPress CMS platform and popular page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery Page Builder). Experience with theme and plugin development is a plus.
- Understanding of web design principles, responsive design practices, and SEO best practices to create visually appealing and optimized websites.
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to create user-centric, brand-aligned websites.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote team members and clients, and the ability to articulate design concepts and development solutions clearly.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive, proactive attitude. A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with web design and technology advancements.
